Over the years I have seen so many weddings. I’ve photographed hundreds of details and I’ve seen just about that many pink weddings. But I still get a little giddy for our weddings at the end of June because I was that bride so many years ago. I loved Brittany’s pink, ivory and silver color scheme. It complimented the modern Hilton Downtown decor perfectly but the pink and the orchids brought just the right amount of romance to this very modern venue. My creative heart always swoons for a Hayley Paige wedding gown. I think Brittany knew that because she had messaged me right after getting her dress that she was going to be a HP Bride! I love how calm and collected both Brittany & Brian were all day long. We have been dealing with this horribly abnormal weather here in Ohio and we’ve had to come up with some back up plans every weekend. B&B didn’t plan on doing a first look but I threw the idea out there the week of the wedding because of the 80% chance of rain and Brittany immediately agreed and we planned for a first look and photos at Franklin Park Conservatory. I love when my brides trust me and have a “go with the flow” heart. I’m always here to take on the stress of these decisions, I thrive on chaos and very quick decisions and we want nothing more than our couples to look back and love their photos! I asked them later that evening how they felt about doing the first look and they both agreed that they loved it and were so glad they did it! It was a huge relief because I never want to push a couple to do something they don’t want to do but it made me feel so much better that they loved it. Coty and I had a wonderful time with Brittany & Brian on their beautiful wedding day! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as we did!

This Photo. I’m all about the adventure but this made me sweat a little bit. The amazing Meleka with MMJ Weddings & Events was behind the dress holding it tight while Coty was on the other side taking the photo. It turned out amazing!
