I just have to say, working with Sarah & Matt… well mostly Sarah since I really work with the brides mostly, has been such a pleasure. It doesn’t hurt that Sarah is THE hostess of the year and wants every party & event she plans even her wedding to be perfect. Her wedding was planned beautifully and everyone that helped make the wedding run smoothly did just that! Sarah & Matt’s ceremony was one of the most intimate ceremony’s I’ve been to in a long time, I think they’d agree it was very detailed but I really enjoyed hearing so much about the couple. I think a lot of times couples want their ceremony to be the quickest ceremony and get straight to the party and we forget that the ceremony is the reason we’re all here in the first place. Its so easy to put focus on the food, flowers & photos and not the vows. I’m not saying make your ceremony an hour long but don’t put the emphasis of why we’re here {the ceremony} on the backburner. Well I will say it again, I love love loved shooting Sarah & Matt’s wedding. Loved her purple ombre’ details, flowers, DRESS, shoes and his bowtie! I’ll stop talking and let the photos speak for themselves!
Something old.
Do you want to have this type of reaction when seeing your flowers for the first time? Hire Posy! This moment was amazing, only because we both share the same love of design & flowers! Some people don’t understand how many hours you put into designing your wedding and bringing every detail together… well this shows how much Sarah put into her wedding! The flowers were perfect!
Little backstory about this, Matt designed and built this little box for their bottle of wine. They nailed it shut and are not opening it for many years… I say many because I can’t remember if its 10 or more. Such a sweet intimate part of their ceremony!
Happy Accident Photo!
I really loved Jackie’s dress! I even sent my mom a cell phone shot of this because I just loved it so much!
Want to have a photo like this? Make sure we have some time in the timeline for me to get a shot of the room, completely finished and empty! I just loved that Dock580 gave me time to do this, it hardly ever happens. Huge thanks to them for setting aside some time and helping me get some shots of the room!
Love that they made every detail so personal. Even the program gave a huge thanks to Stephanie, who introduced the happy couple! Here she is posing with her little thank you 🙂
