Biggest blessing for a photographer? To have other photographer friends. As Molly gets older I can’t help but feel like I take more photos of other people then her. I hate it. So when Rachel & I chatted back in September about doing a fall family portrait, we were so happy she wanted to trade. It was also fun to be able to try out this sunrise shoot. I honestly had NEVER done one and after I did, I scheduled like 4! Love the lighting in the morning. If the sun didn’t rise so early in the summer I’d do it all the time. Rachel & Jared have a very contagious kind of love. They are like magnets, always together and loving every minute. Rachel and I share a small bond in the fact that we both had miscarriages, just a day apart in December of 2012. It was a hard time for both of us and we are so lucky to have such amazing husbands and a God that heals every crack in our hearts. I’m happy to see that God had healed so much of Rachel’s heart and through everything she’s kept a huge smile on her face. Its only Christ that gives us joy in the hard times. Well anyways, I had an amazing time taking their photos this fall. In fact, we went out a couple weeks ago in the huge snow storm we had and took some snow photos, such good times! I’ll be sure to post the photos she got of our little family.
Thanks again Rachel & Jared for the friendship, encouragement & beautiful memories!
