Hello All! Some of you may know this already but Coty and I are believers. We both have been Christians since we were children and thankfully we have grown up in Christians homes. We have been taught the power of prayer and that no matter what the circumstance God is in control. I’m thankful that I fell in love with a man that shared the same beliefs as me and together we live as Christ would want us to live.
As some of you know, my Grandma has Multiple Myeloma, its a cancer that begins in the plasma cells, a type of white blood cell. These cells are part of your immune system, myeloma cells also collect in the bone marrow and the solid part of the bone. My Grandma had an MRI done and they found a couple tumors growing in her back. So they are not doing some extensive testing such as a bone marrow test today. Some of you may already know this but its very painful so we pray for God to comfort her in that time of pain and to keep her calm. We also pray for wisdom in our Doctors, as they run tests and determine what to do next. I’m very thankful that God has given them a wonderful Doctor that is very understand that we have a big family and is so good at what he does. I love hearing that he’s aggressive in his work and he doesn’t take hard information sitting down, he acts swiftly. If you have a moment today, please pray for my Grandma Rosanna and Grandpa Phil. My Aunt Linda and Uncle Chuck (my Dad’s brother and sister) are both joining them in LA today for the testing. I know the whole family wish they could lay hands on her today to pray. Ephesians 3:14-21
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations , for ever and ever! Amen.
I am so sorry to hear about your grandma… I lost my grandma to the same cancer about 3 yrs ago. Its sad to see these kind of things happen to such good people… Your right god does have a plan even if we don’t know what it is in the moment he will show you that plan in time. I will keep your grandmother, you and your family in my prayers. I pray that she will pull through it and beat this horrible cancer. As long as you believe God will work his miracles on her and your family.
