Sea shells. Toes in the sand. The smell of coconut. Fresh shrimp. Gorgeous sunsets. Yup… I was in heaven. As so many of you know, Coty and I were blessed with twins in November. Thankfully, they sleep much better than their sister ever has slept and she’s 4. I love our little family but this little getaway to North Carolina to shoot Krista & Scott’s wedding was perfect timing. Just days before my dad texted me and offered us plane tickets. With the realization we were going to be useful to no one if we drove through the night, we quickly accepted. We arrived to Virginia and made our way down the coast, making little stops along the way. I am pretty sure the moment I saw the ocean I got a little giddy. As parents we soak in the time that we have just the two of us. I think getting some time alone is essential as a married couple. Of course I feel as if we’re a little unique, most couples don’t work together all day everyday. We actually didn’t just talk business, we laughed, had fun, explored and had a great time working together. I won’t lie I enjoyed the sunshine too. Getting to hit that refresh button on a marriage at least once a year for us is so good! For all our couples we work with, our kids, our family & friends!
We all love some cell phone photos.
Hatteras at sunset.
We had a special little visitor at our day after shoot.
Actually getting some behind the scene shots was fun. The ocean was gorgeous where we were, so blue! Definitely going back to Hatteras sometime, such a sweet little beach town!
