For a long time I have said yes to everything. The first time I actually said no was when I was pregnant, having braxton hicks contractions everyday since I was 20 weeks and even though I said no, I still had her 4 weeks early. I think the reason we’ve been blessed so much is because we’ve said yes to almost everything. We’ve never put a limit on how many weddings we book, we’ve never faced a challenging weekend or month without reminding ourselves that we’re among the few that can do this. With that said, we’ve decided to lo longer take business on Sundays. All week long, almost all day long we work. Whether its answering emails, editing, answering phone calls, getting orders done, we are working a lot. With Molly being a year old and things changing in our personal lives we’ve seen Sunday as more of a day of rest then we ever have before. We go to church on a regular basis and we’re involved in our grace group and with that all be on Sunday it leaves little time to fit in a shoot or meeting. We know there are different circumstances so we’re understanding of those, we just hope that everyone can be understanding of us as well. So here’s how this works…
{April-December}
Monday-Thursday We’re available for portraits & meetings
Fridays are hit & miss with some weddings landing on that day so we’d be available for either if we’re open.
Saturdays are reserved for Weddings since we have weddings every weekend from April to October
Sundays we’re closed
GOOD FOR YOU! I honestly couldn’t be more happy to hear this! Certainly, not all of your customers will like it, but it will be such a blessing for your family and you will be able to enjoy both your work and family so much more. I’m sure it was a difficult decision to make, but I pray that you’re already seeing the benefit!
