I was so excited with Jen contacted me about photographing their 2 year old son Max. I graduated from Worthington Christian High School in 2002 along with Luke & John Costello. I was lucky enough to be friends with both guys through high school so it was easy to know what a big family they came from. The Costello family has 6 kids, and from those kids there are lots and lots of Grand kids for Mr. & Mrs. Costello! My dad comes from a family of 5 siblings and its been a blessing in my life knowing all my aunts and uncles and having lots of cousins, so I can only assume that the Costello family feels the same way! When I first started wanting to do more portraits I contacted Bethany, Luke’s wife, about photographing their new baby girl Claire. After that came Kristen, who has 5 beautiful kids, you’ve seen them on the blog before! Last week it was Jen, who is Sam’s wife, and they have a cute little boy name Max. This weekend, will be Rachel & John’s turn, they have a son named Eli and they’re expecting baby #2 very soon! Its been a blessing to start building our portrait business so I guess I can thank almost the entire Costello family for that, they make our portraits look easy and beautiful!
So when I met Jen at Highbanks, she looked just as beautiful as she did in high school if not more. Her and Sam make such a cute couple and their son Max is funny, adorable and really likes rocks. I think we came to the conclusion that in every picture there was going to be a rock in his hand! I had a wonderful time hearing Jen’s story of how they adopted Max 2 years ago. I recently read a couple’s blog about their road to adoption and its amazing how God can bring the perfect baby for a deserving couple. Max was exactly the baby for Sam and Jen.
Here are some photos from our shoot! Thanks again for inviting me to capture some moments with your family Jen!
