When I got the email from Natalie that they wanted to get photos taken of their one year old I first was shocked they had a one year old already! They had gotten married in December of 2008 and I started to realize they probably are not the only couple that has already started a family. I love photographing past clients, I always say there is life after the “I do’s” and we love being a part of it. Its so gratifying in this business to be a part of our couples lives and be their photographer they go to through the years. Little back story on Natalie and Ryan, it was probably the most interesting and fun engagement session I’ve ever done. Natalie is a farmer’s daughter and Ryan is a farmer himself so we had to do their engagement session at the farm. I’m a big fan of cows so I was a little excited about that. What I didn’t plan on seeing that day was Ryan’s brother hopping on a pig and riding it… absolutely hilarious! I’m sure later on in his life he’ll be glad I got a picture of that. I do hope one day I can go back to that farm and take their family photos… so Natalie… totally up for that whenever you want! 🙂 I can’t help but think of all those country songs that talk about the farmers daughter… what a cute love story they have. Now they have the cutest little one year old. She’s got the prettiest blue eyes and such a cute personality, loved to smile and work the camera. She’s got a sweet heart like her mom and a relaxed attitude like her dad. I loved when she slumped down in the couch and Natalie said she looks like her dad there… I have moments with Molly when she does something and I’m like oh that’s her daddy! Anyways, thank you so much for letting me photograph your daughter, she was a pleasure to work with. I do hope to see her again! Here are Lydia’s one year photos!
Baby girl headband by Kewpie Dolly! It was perfect for Miss Lydia’s outfit!
I sort of loved this shot. Lydia has these cute little lips and chin and I’m a jean jacket girl so this was so cute.
