Often times Coty and I find ourselves at these weddings just overjoyed for a couple. Lindsey & Alex are high school sweethearts, who not only love each other dearly but they have hearts for God. There were several moments in the day where I just caught myself thinking, I hope this is what Molly’s wedding day will be like. I loved the color scheme they had chosen, soft and subtle pinks and golds. Every detail was planned out by Lindsey and her mom. They even had a little surprise for the bride which was so hard to keep from her but was pulled off perfectly. I love when brides trust us completely, it gives us this freedom in the day to be creative and fun and capture it exactly they way they would want it. That is exactly what Lindsey & Alex did for us. Then again, they weren’t hard to photograph, they have this electric and contagious kind of love. Scroll on down and enjoy some of my favorite photographs and moments from their wedding!

This moment right here, such amazing friendships. The girls circled around the bride to pray over her. They prayed for her wedding, her marriage and her relationship with Christ. It was so sweet. 

And now for the surprise. So the parents of the bride asked all guests to make a little noise when the couple had their first kiss. So when the pastor said “Please kiss your bride” the guests began to celebrate! 

Greater’s icecream anyone?

We haven’t seen a group like this dance in a long time. The bride and groom entered that dance floor and never left, it was awesome. What was hilarious was that they had no alcohol at this wedding… which shows you don’t need booze to celebrate! We absolutely loved being a part of this wedding. It was gorgeous and such an amazing time. We want to wish the happy couple so many blessings on their marriage!
