“Its Snowing! Wanna go out and take some photos?”- Thats the text I got from Rachel on the day we bundled up and took some snowy photos. When living in the midwest its almost a requirement to do a session like this! Its only fair to show the people who live on the beaches what kind of beauty they are missing… 🙂 So I had Coty run to target, buy some mittens, scarves & hats and we bundled up as a family and headed to a park. My goal was to get ONE photo of all of us, you know us and the other kids with paws! Since Molly was born we hadn’t taken a photo of all of us together so I was so excited when everyone looked at the camera. Yes, Molly looks a little cold but it was so worth it. Gosh I love my little family.
We recently added to our family, a King Charles Cavalier Cocker Spaniel… the breed is a mouthful and so is puppy training. Molly named him Captain, short for Captain Hook. Our other two are Emmit, big dark one in the middle and Gracie Luu, our sweet Gracie by Coty. We got Gracie after our first argument as a married couple, just one short month after getting married. Gosh she was a cutie, still had a pink nose and so beautiful. Emmitt, named after Emmitt Smith is our troubled dog. Right from the beginning I was knew he’d be trouble, especially after he ate all our furniture. His head was too big for his body at first but he clearly grew into it, all 80 some pounds of him. He’s solid muscle, sounds like a horse when running and a lover. He thinks he’s a lap dog and will try and sit on your lap. Gracie is our nervous protector, trying to take care of everyone. Captain… he’s a puppy. Bites, scratches, pees a lot and is the sweetest cuddler. And you obviously all know Molly.Â
Another huge hit by Rachel! Even with an amazing photographer for a husband, I still am a believer that you should hire out when taking photos of your family!
She loves when I warm up her hands. My sweet girl.Â
Thanks again Rachel & Jared with Jacobus Photography. You’ve made my year with these photos!
