Kellie & Jeff, what a pleasure it was shooting their wedding. Every detail warmed my heart right down to the peonies saved from her Grandmother’s garden just for the wedding. I you don’t know this yet, my love of peonies is a deep one. Those blush pink dresses are quite the popular ones this year but they go with everything and they photograph so well. Posy did such a beautiful job at Highline Car House in the Brewery District. The flowers dripping form the wooden chandeliers, gorgeous. Kellie asked me that morning if she could do a quick first look with Jeff. Of course I obliged but I also made sure it was the perfect spot for a first look. At the rehearsal it was quite clear that Kellie needed to see her groom before the wedding so the floodgates don’t open and we run out of tissues right there on the alter! I LOVE that it was spontaneous, intimate and exactly what her heart needed before she walked down the aisle. Before Coty and I arrived I heard Jeff was down in her room in his white robe from the hotel just hanging out with Kellie and the girls… I started to realize this was so them. He truly is her other half. Coty and I had such a wonderful time with this amazing couple! I followed them on IG through their honeymoon and it looks like they found a photographer there who made them pose for photos, hilarious! Well I wish them a world of happiness as newlyweds and years to come!
My love of Jack Rogers shoes is thriving these days!!! Take me to the south y’all!!
One of my favorite parts of this “job” is seeing our other brides at a wedding!! Cannot wait for Gina’s wedding in September!!
