On Friday night around 9:30 my Grandma went home to be with the Lord. I can only imagine what she has seen since then and I am so grateful she’s in a better place. Our family including me, will miss her so very much as we already do. I will be flying out tomorrow to be with my family and I’m so thankful my job allows me to do this. God planned this perfectly as Coty and I were supposed to be leaving for Florida for our first vacation since we have been married. So luckily I didn’t have any weddings, engagement or portrait session scheduled. I’ve been scanning photos and making a slideshow in honor of my Grandma and its been hard yet amazing to look through all our photos. I’ve seen so many similar photos of her with my cousins and she had an amazing life. I want to thank everyone for their prayers and we appreciate them so much. I can honestly say it hasn’t sunk in yet that she’s gone but I know when I get there it’ll hit me. I’m thankful she’s not in pain anymore and that she’s in heaven but that doesn’t help me missing her. I’m so happy I was able to go and spend some time with her and that I wouldn’t trade for the world.
