For SURE way to get your photographer (me) to cry at a reception these two things need to happen… a very sweet moment between Father and Daughter during their dance together, and the very cute Grandparents of the bride or groom need to be the last couple dancing during the traditional anniversary dance. Yes, those things happen quite often and if you glance my way, I probably am tearing up a bit. At Sarah and Shawn’s wedding on Saturday, during the Father/Daughter dance she asked that all the fathers and daughters come up and share the stage with them for a little dance and it again was so sweet. At Melissa and Dan’s wedding in June they did the same thing and its the sweetest thing to see two daughters dancing with their dad. Same thing with the groom and his mom, they asked all the Mothers and Sons to come on stage and share a dance as well. So if you are feeling the love and want to share it with those around you, ask others to share the dance floor with you. It gives a chance for Fathers to have a glimpse of whats to come down the road when he gives his daughter away, and it gives mothers a chance to share a moment with their son that they may not get all the time from their boys.
Here is also a little glimpse of Sarah & Shawn’s wedding on Saturday! It was a gorgeous day and a beautiful couple!
