I can just hear Phantom Planet singing California to me… CALIFORNIAAA! Don’t worry I won’t attempt to sing it for you! I’m an avid OC fan, watched it all through college! Just the thought that I was leaving my uggs behind for some flip flops made me smile. Although the trip was less than beachy I was blessed to be able to visit my family. If you’ve followed my blog you know my Grandma has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and she’s still undergoing chemo and many medications. I knew I wanted to visit while I had some time off because I’ve missed out on some events because of weddings so I was so thankful to my dad who bought me a ticket to go out and see her. It was extra nice because I got to see some of my cousins I hadn’t seen since our wedding in 2007. I must admit that even though I got a little sun burnt, I still ached to live in California. I love my family so much and I really really love my flip flops. Its very tempting. I’m praying maybe we’ll be able to go again this summer and God delivers my Grandma from this disease. Its heart wrenching seeing her go through this. Jeremiah 29:11 is a frequent verse in our family and I believe it to be the truth! Anyways, enjoy some personal photos from my trip!
All my Grandpa’s antiques. Loved them all!
My Grandma’s recipe box was great to look through.
Loved this tree!
Grandma Rosanna, after she got her hair done… she was feeling picture worthy!
My two Aunts Janelle and Linda, Grandma and my cousin Madi.
Janelle’s fabulous bike… I was little envy of this!
Janelle and her fab shoes!
Okay so I went a little overboard on the detailed shots of Cali. With our newly painted walls, they need some bright fun photos! Anyways, hope everyone has a wonderful week!
