Just a few years ago I was shooting Brittany’s senior photos in the alley way of our studio, it was December and cold but she was stunning in front of the camera. Fast forward several years later and here we are shooting her wedding! This year alone we’ve shot several weddings of girls that we’ve shot their senior photos… they are making me feel old! I was so excited when Brittany contacted us to do her wedding and when we sat down to get details it made me even more excited! “Very casual laidback rustic chic wedding? Is that a thing?” Is what she described her wedding as. And yes, its a thing! It was by far the most intimate wedding we’ve shot and no detail was left untouched! Everything from her flowers in her hair, his navy suit and the Jeni’s icecream… it was perfection. Just take a look at the photos… you’ll see!
When Brittany mentioned having icecream instead of cake, I knew she had to have these custom engraved spoons! I found Jessica N Designs on instagram and started following her a long time ago so I sent Brittany over to her etsy page to get these spoons… they were perfect for their first scoop of icecream! Her adorable invites were from Minted.com
Flowers were from The Flowerman Columbus, of course arranged by the Bride, her mom & sister!
This moment. I was so thankful to capture. A father watching his daughter get ready for her wedding… literally makes me cry. I can only imagine what was going through his mind as he saw his little girl in a white dress.
Now for her epic walk. I have to tell you, I could not have planned this better myself. There wasn’t any music just the simplicity of her long walk to her groom. No one spoke, just watched as Brittany made her way down the hill and through the field to Mark. It really was the most beautiful scene.
Loved this photo… the campfire was the perfect touch!
Guys… we are loving the navy suit! Its such a good change from the black and gray we see all the time!
My favorite photo of the evening… love love love!
So just a little tid bit of info… dry ice will freeze your jeni’s icecream solid… so romantic!
Brittany & Mark… we were so thankful to be a part of your wedding. We had such an amazing time and you guys made us feel more like guests then vendors! Wishing you both so much happiness!
