Do you ever just click with someone and you feel like you were just meant to be? You hear stories of love at first sight all the time but you rarely meet a couple like this. When I arrived at the hotel, Brittany was getting her makeup on while her girlfriends just lounged in the room sipping champagne. I loved hearing her mom talk about the first time Brittany met Josh, how she almost cancelled the blind date that her parents set up for her. You can imagine what Brittany must of thought the first time she met Josh, he’s quite handsome so I can only imagine she did not regret cancelling the blind date. The maid of honor said after the date she did what any friend would do, she rushed to her site to do a complete search of Josh on facebook. Brittany is a nanny and I have always thought nannies have to have a kind heart, full of patience and a big purse. She also does photography on the side so it was nice to know how much they both valued photography which made our “job” easier. Couples that set aside so much time for photos and know how much work goes into wedding photography are so much easier to be with… they just get it! Being at Taylor Mansion, its easy to get lost in the romance of the garden. We took the majority of the photographs there because its just so darn beautiful there. I loved the soft tones of the gray, pink & white everywhere. May weddings are always some of my favorites because its those pastels and springy colors along with the green of spring! They opted for a first look before the ceremony which eases the nerves and makes the day even more enjoyable! We just had such an amazing time with this group of people, I had to make it a two part blog. Too many photographs to choose from! Enjoy part one of Brittany & Josh’s gorgeous wedding day!
Men… anything and I really mean anything, in a blue box will do.
