I seriously find myself asking this question several times a week. Ask Coty. Its nearing October and he knows how I get in October. This month is full of engagement sessions, family portraits, mini sessions, meetings, more family portraits and of course weddings. With Saturday being October 1st, its somehow confused me. Leave it to my ADD to throw me for a loop and not realize October is THIS SATURDAY! It was trying to sneak up on me! So I thought I’d give you all an update on life, business and other ramblings. In August we went on vacation, I know, VACATION in the middle of the season. Don’t worry, we got back in the middle of the night Thursday night and then Saturday and Sunday we had weddings. I call that “back to reality” 🙂 I’ll be posting photos of that amazing vacation here soon. Somehow the last two months are a blurr because they went so fast. Molly is now 9 1/2 Months and mobile. Not walking but definitely mobile. We’re whipping up a few amazing things this month, one being a promo video by Clay Productions. Met with him yesterday, communicated my very random and very detailed vision and we’ll be shooting that in a couple weeks. We’re also headed to Ikea tomorrow after my engagement shoot with a 2012 couple at Miami University. I haven’t been in 2 years and Coty’s never been there before, I’m rather excited. In the coming months we’ll be fixing up the studio {because its like 100 years old} and working on a viewing room. After being in the studio for 3 years we’re finally getting around to using almost all of it! Okay so I think I’ve covered whats going on now… OH thats right a workshop. Well… I’m thinking about it. We’ve had a ton of inquiries for one which was so out of the blue. I never thought I’d do something like this, too afraid of the judgement by other photographers, afraid I’ll say something weird {Coty already said I’ll need to brush up on my technical terms, I can’t call things clicker and thingy} afraid no one will show up. But recently I mentioned a workshop and I had several people say they’re interested. If more then one person wants to sign up then I’m doing it. I love learning, talking, sharing and having fun so why not right?! Well Coty and I’ll be talking about it on our long drive to Miami so hopefully we figure something out.
