Growing up I cannot remember a moment or event going by where my mom wasn’t humming a tune of some song from her day or was waking us up with a song she made up for us that minute!  I can honestly say I’m becoming more like my mother every day because I find myself doing the same thing… hopefully Coty can put up with this for the rest of his life. So today, and please don’t judge me, the song changes by Tupac is ringing in my ear… blame it on the college days where Coty and I would get in the car and my country radio station rarely won in the car! So as this day finally starts to come to a close I bring to you new changes we’ve made with Henry Photography. We just got the new issue of Columbus Bride and I am so happy to say CONGRATS to Megan & Matt who are featured in the magazine in the Real Weddings section! Also, a cute photo of our October bride Maria and her 10 bridesmaids… its one of my favorites so congrats to her too! Just thumbing through the new magazine it made me smile to think how far we’ve come in photography, art, business and in life. Getting from one point to another looks easy but in all reality it is not. Over the past year we have been working hard on our brand and figuring out who we are as Henry Photography, and for the first time in a long time I feel so confident that we are going in the right direction. I am more than excited to go to client meetings ready to show them all our new and updated photos, and we are thrilled to be able to have a couple’s wedding photos ready for viewing by the time they get back from their honeymoon. So I’ll admit, I could ramble on and on about some of our changes but I won’t because you’d get bored. A couple big changes we made are in the post processing, for one we are no longer going to be with pictage we will personally be handling all of our orders, that way we get to be a little more hands on and make sure our clients orders are perfect! Yes, this gives us a little more work but we get to keep the cost down in prints which makes everyone happy right?! This also gives us the opportunity to offer a bigger variety of products that we didn’t before. If you’ve been to our studio lately you’ve noticed our walls are a little bare, well in the next couple weeks we’ll be filling those walls up with new photos and canvas prints, so I’m excited to finally get something up there because well its embarrassing! 🙂

Okay, like I said I could ramble on. Coty always gets on me that I cannot type how I talk because there would be no pauses or periods so I apologize now for the future posts if it seems like I don’t take a breath/break in typing!
