Rainy Saturday turned out to be a fabulous indoors wedding. I’m sure every bride who books their ceremony outside in Ohio dreads the day that weather.com says there is ANY chance of rain. The prayers start a year in advance but that 10 day forecast is checked periodically through the day until 30 minutes before the cermeony. Well that “periodically” checking for pilots is VERY different! It was as if we had professional weather people with us checking the dopplar! Well the rain came and we set the ceremony inside but as I walked through the doors of the ballroom I was overwhelmed with how beautiful it was. They had purple lights along the wall, bright green and purple table clothes and adorable pictures of their dogs for table numbers on the tables. The room was beautiful. So their outdoor ceremony on the pool top terrace of the Renaissance Hotel turned into a ballroom ceremony with lots of pictures outside in between the spits of rain!
Ashley and Andy decided to have a first look on the terrace and you know how I love my first looks. It was the longest first look we’ve ever had, they actually talked for a little while. Most couples its a couple minutes and they’re ready to start photos. Ashley and Andy savored the moment together and he took in all of her dress… it was a lot of dress… a lot of fabulousness! Before the rain would change our plans for photos, we got some gorgeous clouds, a nice breeze and great lighting for photos. Right outside the doors of the hotel is one of my favorite spots so when it started raining we headed to the ground floor! Ashley was bride turned model, she kept striking a pose for the camera and I had such a great time following her around all day. Loved her green shoes, color shoes ladies… colored shoes! Ruffles too! Anyways, Coty and I had such a great time at this wedding! It was a beautiful wedding whether it was indoors or not, it was going to be gorgeous! Here are some photos from their May wedding!
