Ok so its been a while for me to actually blog something other then our daughter Molly. Don’t judge me, I just can’t help but take more pictures of her and share them with you all. She is now 3 months old and growing way too fast. Our first wedding of the year is this weekend and its killing me to think about dropping her off at her GiGi and Papa’s house but I’m excited to get back to work. Luckily we don’t have another wedding until the end of April so I have some time to adjust to getting back into the swing of things. We’re so blessed to have amazing couples this year that I look forward to each and every wedding we shoot. We’re also blessed to have my parents so close and so willing to watch Molly while we shoot weddings so they don’t see it as babysitting they see it as gigi and papa time!!
So I actually had to go back and see which wedding was our last wedding that I blogged and sadly, it was SEPTEMBER! I’m embarrassed because I wanted to blog more but if I’m not emailing, editing or working on the books I’m nursing or watching Molly. Luckily when wedding season is in full bloom she’ll be a little older and I’ll be able to lay her under her little jungle and work. Now I say that but we will see! So here I am blogging about an October wedding… still so embarrassed! Trent and Abby were one of those couples we were looking forward to shooting for over a year. They had been engaged for over a year and dating for over 7 years, it was about time right?! Coty went to high school with these little love birds so it made it all the more special. Trent is a fellow photographer and he actually second shot with us last May so the benefits of shooting another photographer are that he knows the ins and outs of how a wedding goes. Trent and Abby wanted to have a first look which is ultimately such a wonderful choice when it comes to the flow of a wedding day. For some reason we end up with tons more photos because we’re able to set aside as much time as needed for photos instead of working around ceremony and reception timelines. First looks are also so beautiful, we’re able to catch that first moment you see eachother and you’re able to talk, cry, laugh all in private… well we’re there but you’ll only hear our little clicks of the camera. Trust me when I say this, you don’t lose any emotion when you do a first look, in fact there is something sacred about when you walk down the aisle with your dad on your arm that its still just as beautiful or even more in fact. Ok so can you tell I love first looks? Anyways, here are some photos from Trent & Abby’s fall wedding in Indiana. Note the cornfields… I couldn’t resist shooting an Indiana wedding without the cornfields. It was a gloomy gray day but the photos turned out amazing, then again Trent and Abby are amazing to shoot! Love you guys!
Love Love LOVED this wall.
Yes… thats me… fixing her bustle while she’s dancing. Didn’t want Abby to miss a moment because of a busted bustle lol
