53 years ago today my Grandparents said “I do”. As my Grandmother said on our family blog, she was putting on her mint green dress, and my grandpa was wearing black pants and a pink jacket and tie. The photo above was on their 50th anniversary, so it was fitting that my Grandpa would wear a pink shirt again.  I cannot begin to tell you the example my Grandparents are to me and my husband, and the foundation that they have built for this family. It started with 2 and now there are 22 of us. I am so thankful them, I’m thankful for the prayers over the years, I’m thankful for encouragement, I’m thankful for the money they’d always give when it was time for my annual church camps… I’m just so thankful for the time I’ve had with them. I love you both so much!
