Finally, we get to share this beautiful wedding with the world. If you turn to page 111 in The Knot Ohio magazine, you can see why we were so patient to share. We met Katie & Derek long before their wedding and just one day after Derek moved to Ohio. We found some beers from Denver so it may have perked him up since he missed Colorado. From what we gathered, Katie was well worth the move and they are so happy to be near family. Katie comes from a very close family which showed throughout the entire day. Lilacs graced the arch and her bouquet in honor of her late mother and all through the ceremony she could smell the gorgeous fragrance which made her think of her Mother. The Ricarts love the east coast and they brought in crab cakes all the way from Baltimore and they were every so delicious. The entire day was a beautiful whirlwind with the rain that came through before the ceremony. Luckily the museum is just as entertaining inside as it is outside and the guests had an amazing time strolling through the halls to view artwork. One of my favorite moments was the Father Daughter first look. This was such an important moment and gosh it had everyone in tears. You could just see how close the two are through all the emotion we gathered from those few moments. We had the best time getting to know Katie & Derek, what an awesome couple they are!
