My heart still flutters for an intimate country wedding, I’m just that kind of girl I guess. I put away my mason jars last year because I felt like the time had come to grow up and get some new glasses, they have since appeared back in my cabinet and it will always be my choice of glass for my iced tea. When Renee & Max got married I will admit that I flooded her comment box with sincere congratulations in hopes that she would pick us to shoot her wedding. Her love of madewell, the color white and photography made me want to be her friend. Much to my surprise, she chose us to shoot her wedding. Their engagement session was the best ever, still to this day I adore their photos. I loved getting messages from Renee about her details for the wedding, they reflected them both perfectly and her style was in every photo. Simple, classic and unique was definitely the feeling I got when I arrived at Irongate Equestrian Center. Its a gorgeous venue with rolling hills and totally down the road from our home which we love. We pass it on the way to church and I just love this venue, its so gorgeous. The abundance of eucalyptus gave a fragrant scent throughout the day and the muted tones were so perfect.
