I have been looking forward to this moment for a long time. I cannot believe Josh & April are married… time really has flown by since they got engaged last year! I’ve known Josh since he was a kid, our parents went to the same church together and our sisters’s graduated in the same class at WC. I feel like its been a huge blessing to see him and his sister get married and get to know them all over again. Coty and I walked away from their wedding just overjoyed for their marriage but also praying that our kids grow up with friends just like that. I love how Josh and April fit together perfectly. April is calm and graceful and Josh is funny and emotional all at the same time. I definitely look forward to seeing them grow old together because they are just the sweetest couple. Its one of my favorite parts of the job, getting to see these couples start a new life together, have kids, get dogs or cats and go on trips, it is the best part. As wedding photographers we get to be a piece to the puzzle in their story that they share with their kids and generations to come. My Gramma is moving and we’ve been going through all her things and its the photos that I love finding in random places. Polaroids of when I was not even a year old, my mom with feathered hair and blue eye shadow in front of an old car, my Gramma cooking in the kitchen…. its really the best part of moments like this. I love that our photos that we take of couples will be in moments like this.

You’d never know it was cold and rainy that day in May. I never heard April or Josh ever complain of the weather or the fact that their ceremony was inside instead of outside. I’d probably be crying on the floor and April didn’t even bat an eye at the fact that everything changed. I think it was the fact that they came there to get married and that was all that mattered… it was the best feeling. Okay so I’ll stop yapping, here are their photos!
